Ehrengast

A sunday beginning with Mr. Pleuger as the first visitor of  the exhibition shall become a great day I think, and happily I’m proved right. Again he impresses me with his cheerful eloquence and his dynamic appearance. Soon I will accept his invitation, and visit him to give a try to the armangnac, he offers to his guests. Of course I show him the picture of himself first, and he tells some stories of the reactions of people who found it on the blog and in the papers back then. Then he looks around and spots some aquaintances on the opposite wall: „Ah, I know them; the Kleins, they’re customers of mine“ he says with a warm smile, and it seems that they’re more friends than only customers. Miss Passerine from this blog has yet been at his shop as well, to ask for an expert advice concerning fabrics. So the online-world gets connected in the offline-world, and that’s a good thing to my mind. Furthermore Mr. Pleuger again mentions another loyal customer, to whom he also seems to be very grateful: „You should get to know this man; he’s always dressed up very correctly. I’m almost dressed casual compared to him.“ he says laughingly, and again I feel quite sloppy compared to him. I’ll dress to the nines for the Armagnac, that’s for sure!
